Family Hikes

LISA FALLS- in Cottonwood Canyon

BATTLE CREEK FALLS 2009

This summer we picked up a new hobbie...hiking together with our girls. Our first hike was to battle creek falls, in Pleasant Grove. Only 1.5 miles, this is a great hike that is easy for families. Travis braved the waterfall and went inside. He said it was cold. I'll take his word for it.
A couple of weeks later we ventured to Salt Lake and hiked up to Lisa Falls. This hike was even easier and only took about 10 minutes. These are my kind of hikes...little effort...great rewards. We explored near the trail and watched rock climbers as they scaled the smooth shell rock. On the way home we ran into Oktoberfest a german festival celebrated at Snowbird ski resort. A fun little detour and family memory.
