"I'm thankful for birthdays..."

Ariel and Shantell have been obsessed with birthadays and everything that goes with them for the last 6 months... so needless to say when they got invited to their first birhtday party with out Mom or Dad they were "tickled pink." Their friend Madison has the best mom ever. She created a pinkalicious themed bithday party. At the party they read a book about a little girl who turned pink from eating too many pink cupcakes. Then all the girls made their own cupcakes and enjoyed several activities surrounding that theme. They were each given their own chef's apron, hat and spatula to take home. Truly a great time. Now the birthday party excitiment has only been reinforced and our usual easy cake and ice cream with immedate family well need to be stepped up a little. Welcome to the Bascom's marathon of Holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Twin Birthdays, and then New Years. Today when the girls came home from primary they had a Thanksgiving paper that said" I am thankful for... "and then the child's response and picture. On their page, both of my girls had a picture of a birthday cake and candles. Ariel- far left, Shantell 3rd from the left. Other friends included in photo from the left: Julie Riboldi, Emily Lyon, Sarah Riboldi, and Madison Rollins.
